Billing support that knows wound care.

PCSS and its billing partners help practices get wound care claims out clean and followed through — from eligibility to denials — under a service agreement that stands on its own.

Typical scope

From eligibility to denials.

  • Eligibility and benefits checks before supplies go out
  • Claim preparation and submission, including the modifiers Medicare requires on dressing claims (A1–A9, AW and GY where they apply)
  • Follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims
  • Denial review, corrections and appeals
  • Regular reporting on claim status and denial trends

How it's set up

A separate agreement

Billing services are contracted on their own terms. Using them is never a condition of buying supplies, and buying supplies is never a condition of using them.

Patient data stays off this website

Claims work needs patient records, so it runs only under a signed business associate agreement (BAA) through secure channels — never through web forms or email.

Scope you can see

Your agreement spells out what's included, who performs the work and how you're kept informed.

How it starts

Four steps, in writing.

  1. 1

    Intro call

Tell us your specialty, payer mix and where claims get stuck today.

  2. 2

    Scope and agreement

We propose a scope and put it in a written service agreement, with a BAA.

  3. 3

    Onboarding

Secure access is set up and your team gets a named contact.

  4. 4

    Ongoing reporting

Regular updates on claim status, denials and what's being fixed.

Do we have to buy supplies from PCSS to use billing services?

No. Billing services are contracted separately, and buying supplies is never a condition of using them.

Who performs the billing work?

PCSS works with billing partners. Your service agreement names who performs the work and how it's supervised.

Can we send claim questions through the website?

Please don't send patient information through this website. Use the form for a general inquiry and we'll set up a secure channel.

Best way to reach you

Please don't include patient information. Patient-direct orders and documents use the separate Equipia route, not this site; this form and our phone line are for access, account and service help only.
